(“Tawi Digital Health”, “Us” or “We”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (“Users” or “You”) of its website located at www.tawihealth.com (the “Website”), www.patient.tawihealth.com (the Patient portal),www.practitioner.tawihealth.com (the Practitioner Portal) and Tawi Offline usage ("USSD") Platforms.

We require certain information to provide our service to you. For Example, you MUST create an account for you to book an appointment and have access to other health services;, and this will require your personal information,contact information,medical records etc. When you choose to share these information with us, we collect and use it to operate our services. Below section explains how each of the information categories is applied to our service.

Basic Account Information

If you do choose to create an account with Tawi Health, you must provide us with some personal data so that we can provide our services to you. This information includes username, email address, phone number and your secret password. This information will be used used to authenticate your access to the services.

Contact Information

We use your contact information, such as your email address and phone number, to authenticate your account; This also helps us secure your account, and to help prevent spam, fraud, and abuse. Subject to your settings, we also use contact information to enable certain account features for example, for login-verification, to send you information about our services.

Payment Information

You may provide us with payment information, including your MPesa Phone Number, credit or debit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address, in order to complete the booking appointment process or other offerings provided as part of our services. If you make a payment or send money using Tawi Health features or services, including through an intermediary, we may receive information about your transaction such as when it was made or when a subscription is set to expire or auto-renew this affects both hospitals, patients and other affiliates.

Other information you share

When you use Tawi, we receive some personal information from you such as the type of device you are using, your location IP address. We primarily use this information to keep your account secure.We give you control to limit how your information should be used.

Managing your Personal information with us

Tawi health grants you all control of your information. To comply with the GDPR, all your sensitive information is well secured and can only be accessed under your permissions. You can also deactivate your account. Please note, to help protect your privacy and maintain security, we take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to your personal information or complying with deletion or other related requests. This is achieved by the OTP (One Time Password) policy.

Accessing and modifying your profile information

If you have an existing account, we provide you with an account setting section to allow you modify, update or delete your account information. You can download certain information associated to your account such as your medical record history, andor any other related records as need be.However, this requires you to confirm your account by 2FA policy

Deletion

As stated under this policy document, you have the right to control your information and general account. Should you wish to delete and or deactivate your account, you have permissions to do so. We keep deactivated account information for a maximum of 12 Months . When deactivated, your Tawi health account, including your personal information, contact details, medical records, will no longer be viewable on Tawi Web platform, Tawi SaaS, TawiHealth Mobile or USSD. However the information will still be available in the Tawi Health database. If you would like it to be pludged immediately, you can always sent a special request via the contact us page. [ Contact us ] Should you have accidentally deactivated your account, it's still possible to restore with all related infromationation within 12 Months of deactivation.

Change to Privacy & Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the policy will govern our processing of your personal data and will always be at (website/privacy-policy) . If we make a change to this policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you within the Tawi Health platform,Tawi For Android, via a Tawi owned and operated Tawi account or by sending an email to the email address associated with your account or SMS notification associated with your mobile number. By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
